Rosemonde Gurtner is a member of the adjunct faculty in the Italian Studies Department and The American University of Rome – AUR  where she works as lecturer in Italian and worked as teacher educator. She also teaches the Loyola University Chicago, Rome Center

She holds a POSTGRADUATE CERTIFICATE in “Applied Language and New Technology” from Hull University in UK , the European Certification for Teaching Italian As a Second Language CEDILS from the University of Venice Cà Foscari and a LAUREA in Lingue e Letterature Straniere from University of Roma La Sapienza.

Since 2001 she has been active in her field of specialization by serving in the following positions:
-Lecturer and Instructional Designer in the Linguistic Center at the University of Trieste,
-Teacher Instructor for ENAIP, a network for services for careers training
-Collaborator with AICLU (Associazione Italiana Centri Linguistici Universitari),
-Consultant for Alma Edizioni,
– Italian Lecturer at the University of Roma Tre,
-French Lecturer (mother tongue) for private schools.
